31 Days Out: BAHA Permits Arrived!

It's our last "Independence Day" here in the U.S.! Nathan is braving 115f and muggy, awful, blazing-sun weather to golf with his dad and family friends, while I'm at home, lounging in the A/C, working on moving checklist items.

An important one is now checked off: WE RECEIVED OUR IMPORT PERMITS FROM BAHA!

This allows us to bring our 3 cats into Belize legally, provided we pay the applicable fees and meet all the criteria.

It's much faster to watch this video than for me to type, so here is a summary of the process, which includes details you won't find on BAHA's website:
Can I bring my pet to Belize? YES! But you have to do some legwork...

The link to BAHA for the form and more information is baha.org.bz.

In general, I'm trying to keep busy today as it is the 12 year anniversary of losing my first cat, Amber Bock.

When I met Nathan, he said he "hated" cats, and, "was allergic" to cats. Much like the many memes on the internet, she quickly won him over, and those alleged, "allergies" weren't so valid.

Give all your pets a big hug today, tell them that you love them!
