42 Days To Go: Our Home is UNDER CONTRACT!

BIG news to share today!

Our existing home in Phoenix is now UNDER CONTRACT....! 

We were on the market for 33 days, when the average in our area is closer to 50. Very pleased with the offer, and now we can really kick things into gear!

We'd move August 5th regardless of whether the home was sold or not; but now that it is, that triggers other tasks, like:
-Scheduling pickup of the stuff we are moving;
-Booking a short-term rental home (we'll close July 23rd, but don't fly out until 8/5);
-Selling our remaining furniture.

Those are some of the larger milestones, so I'll get to work on those this week!

We do enjoy the part of town we live in, although we are considering booking a STR closer to the airport. Currently it's only about 20 minutes, but with 3 cats, if we could cut that by half, it would be an easier ride for them - and our ears. We have some car-wailers, and lucky me, I get to lug all 3 to the vet tomorrow for their vaccines! I'll be sure to capture that chaos for a youtube video tomorrow.
